Toms shoes has been well known for revolutionizing the retail business model with the one for one concept. Toms is taking their shop for a cause campaign to the next level by creating an e-commerce platform where you can find over 200 socially conscious products at one domain. This well curated e-commerce site comes just in time for the 2013 holiday season.

Worldstock.com is a socially consious online store found on Overstock.com, that aims to provide worldwide artisans with an oline pressence while paying 60-70% of profits directly to the artisan. All other profits are donated to international charities. Browsing through the website will make you feel like you are at a Indian street bazzar, with many, many unique pieces.

Triple Bottom Line refers to the business model that consists of  people, planet and of course profit. Concentrating on these core values allows the business to strive for a socially sustainable business. Better World books is one of my favorite companies to adopt this way of thinking. Along with their many partners they have donated 10 million books and raised $15 million to fund literacy initiatives worldwide.
